2010 MARATHON REPORT
Monday May 31st saw the third annual staging of the Newry City Marathon, Half-Marathon and Fun Run in favourable weather conditions amidst the rolling countryside of counties Down and Armagh.

Events

2010 Half Marathon

The 2010 event will follow the same route as previous years. Changes, if any, to the 2008/9 routes will be identified and calibrated.

Starting outside Newry Sports Centre on Patrick Street. Left into Francis Street. Left onto Merchants Quay. Left again onto Monaghan Street. Left again & past the Sports Centre. Left into Francis Street. Left onto Merchants Quay, Canal Quay. Join Tow path at WIN Industrial Estate. Leave Tow Path at Sheperds Way. Join Poyntzpass Road. At Jerrettspass turn right onto Carrickovaddy Road. Left onto Glenn Road, Right again and then rejoin Tow Path. Stay on Tow Path and return to Newry at WIN Business Park. Canal Quay. Merchants Quay and finish at Buttercrane Shopping Centre on Buttercrane Quay
