Hilltown 10k Run / Walk

10k Run / Walk Sunday 10th April 2011

All events start at the square Hilltown and finish at the GAA clubrooms.

10k starting at 1.15pm and Fun Run at 1.30pm. There will be a fun run 1.2k for anyone else. The price of 10k is £12 and Fun Run 1.2k is £5. T

All funds raised will benefit the charity Make A Wish Foundatin in memory of Briege Morgan and the local Youth Club will be a beneficary as it is 25yrs supporting our local youth.

Ards Half Marathon

2011 will be the FOURTH Ards Half Marathon, which has established itself firmly on the race calendar.

Springwell AC

Springwell Running Club is a very successful, dynamic, young running club serving the Coleraine, Ballymoney and Limavady areas. The club was formed in 2001 by the amalgamation of Roe Valley Athletic Club and North Coast Runners and we now has over 160 members. See site for details of upcoming events.

Belfast Marathon

2011 Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon

Belfast will host this year's event on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May. Over 20,000 runners are expected to hit the streets of North, South, East and West of the City.

The event has grown with the inclusion of new sponsors which now include Deep RiverRock, Belfast City Council, Sport Northern Ireland, Daily Mirror, Charles Hurst Renault, Athletics Northern Ireland, Premier Inn Hotel, Translink, Asics, Up and Running and U105.

The official nominated charities for this year are Macmillan Cancer Support and Transplant Sport UK.

Entries are now available for the 2011 event.

Athletics Northern Ireland

Athletics Northern Ireland is the governing body for the sport of athletics in N. Ireland. It was founded in 1989 by the amalgamation of the NI Amateur Athletic Association (founded in 1932) and the NI Womens Amateur Athletic Association (founded in 1951).

We are involved in all disciplines of the sport of athletics- track and field, cross-country, road running and fell running- and caters for all ages from 11 years upwards.

There are currently 56 clubs based throughout Northern Ireland which are affiliated to the governing body. These clubs can be contacted individually to find out information on club training nights, venues, times, fees etc.
