Cork City Marathon CORK CITY MARATHON

The 2008 Champion Sports Cork City Marathon and Team Relay will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd June 2008. You can enter as an individual or enter as part of a team of between 2 and 5 members.

Connemara Marathon The Connemara International Marathon is a day of road running/racing around a very scenic part of the West of Ireland.
Comprising of a Half Marathon, a Full Marathon and Ireland's only on-road Ultra Marathon (39.3 miles) all taking place on the one day on April 6th 2008. Entry fee for 2008 is €70.00(Euro).

Longford Marathon The 2008 Kanes Travel Longford Marathon & Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 24th August 2008.
This year, we have decided to experiment with holding a Marathon Relay event in conjunction with the normal Marathon and Half Marathon Event. The aim is to allow a team of 4 people complete the full marathon event in relay. The entry fee for a team of 4 people will be 100 euro per team. The stages of the relay are still being worked out, and we'll be posting details on the site here shortly. |

Athletics Northern Ireland Athletics Northern Ireland is the governing body for the sport of athletics in N. Ireland. It was founded in 1989 by the amalgamation of the NI Amateur Athletic Association (founded in 1932) and the NI Womens Amateur Athletic Association (founded in 1951).
We are involved in all disciplines of the sport of athletics- track and field, cross-country, road running and fell running- and caters for all ages from 11 years upwards.
There are currently 56 clubs based throughout Northern Ireland which are affiliated to the governing body. These clubs can be contacted individually to find out information on club training nights, venues, times, fees etc. |
